We used Malfettone Electric for two jobs over the past year and plan to use them again in the future for all of our electrical work in Jersey City. On the first job we hired them for, they installed... recessed lighting in our kitchen. We were happy with the work so hired them for a second job. For this second job they added recessed lighting to our living room, added outdoor lights to our solarium, replaced and upgraded our panel, and upgraded an existing outlet to 220V so we could accommodate an AC unit that also had heat (for use in our solarium).For both jobs communication with Jason was easy. He did home visits beforehand and then promptly sent estimates for the work. When it came time for the work to be done, Jason's team was professional, came on time, and did both jobs quickly with no hiccups.About two months after the second job was complete, one of our recessed lights was flickering. We talked to Jason and he came over promptly and swapped out the factory defective recessed light with another brand new one. The problem immediately stopped. We were not charged for the visit or the new light. Jason was happy to help. This is the type of service that you hope you can find in an Electrician - - that after the job is done they will stay with you.We are already planning more electrical work to our home and will use Malfettone Electric for our upcoming job. Jason was extremely conscientious and responsive to our complicated repairs to a 200 year old home. He and his crew put in new recessed lights, Indra fans, did the outside sensors and also redid... faulty wiring. We feel very confident in the work they did. Jason was very respectful of our time and space and he always communicated clearly and promptly.It was hard to get him initially but once we got through and discussed the issues everything rolled really smoothly.The electric work we had done was pretty extensive and Jason had to correct many errors. It wasn’t cheap but it was a fair price for excellent work and having confidence in a job done right and safely is so reassuring.read more
